2007 ASPC National Shetland Congress ~ Classical Story and Scott Queer from Coventry Lane Farm was presented the "Inaugral Vetrolin Grooming Award"  for the pony "that outshined all the others" that was selected from a dozen runners-up during the Platform Shetland Pony Congress.  The award was presented by Farnam's Territory Manager "John Sheary" and Farnam's Regional Field  Representative "Renee Mariniello".   (See Above Photo)

Buckeye WCF Classical Story is a 2006 Classic Shetland bred by Les and Getitia Matheny from Buckeye Walnut Creek Farm located in Circlevlle, Ohio.  Story's sire is "Graham's Little King Lee" and his dam is " M.A.M. Music's Miss Melody" that was awarded "Double Superior Dam".  Both Story's Sire and Dam are in the Hall of Fame as well as others in his pedigree consisting of Spring Fancy (HOF), Ramble Ridge's Cocky Corky (HOF), Cedergrove's Fascination Rde (HOF), along with Red Rock Kid Lee, Kid Lee, M.A.M. Say it with Music, Red Rock Sweet Thing,  and Bullseye.  Story is in the ASPC Futurity Program as has done very well in his show career.

Buckeye WCF Paposo Black Magic ...aka Midnight is a 2007 dual registered ASPC and AMHR solid black filly with a high tail set, great topline, thin upright neck and has such pretty movement.  She is sustained in the 2008 AMHR Futurity and will be added to our show string for the 2008 season.  Her dam is "Michigan's Mother Margaret" that is in the Hall of Fame and with being a Superior Dam as well.  Midnight's sire is "Kewpie's Paposa of Arenosa" that is registered AMHA, AMHR, ASPC and is 100% Arenosa.  Midnight's additional pedigree consists of Kewpie's Topper of Arenosa, Kewpie's Ruby of Arenosa,  Kewpie Doll's Diablo, Kewpie's El Monterry of Arenosa, H.P. Jericho's New Image, Winks Jericho, Winks New Dawn, Michigan's Pocket Change, Michigan's Mike's Second Addition and Michigan's Silver Penny that is also in the Hall of Fame.  

We are very excited about adding this gorgous filly to our 2008 show string and later on in our ASPC/AMHR breeding program here at Coventry Lane.

Gold is a 2004 ASPC and AMHR registered buttermilk buckskin pinto stallion that measures only 37 inches.  His pedigree consists of Michigan's Midget Mike, Michigan's Repeat Edition, and Michigan's Mike's Second Edition.  We are very excited about adding Gold to our breeding program here at Coventry Lane. Gold is very friendly, easy to deal with and loves attention.  Look for Golds ASPC and AMHR Futurity nominated foals to arrive in the spring of 2009. 

Bonnie is a dual registered ASPC and AMHR solid gray mare that measures 37.50 inches and has the various Michigan's pedigree's consisting of Michigan's Instant Replay, Michigan's Midget Mike, Michigan's Silver Momma, Michigan's Little Maiden, Michigan's Aquanaut plus B & L's Golden Moonlight, Johnston's Golden Starlight, B & L's Madonna.  Bonnie will be bred to Coventry Lane's Gold Edition, our ASPC and AMHR buttermilk buckskin pinto stallion that has various Michigan's pedigree for a 2009 ASPC and AMHR Futurity nominated foal.

Pondering Oaks Apache Rose is a 2007 ASPC and Pinto Association registered tovero filly with a partial bald face and two ice blue eyes and Rosie should remain small enough to hardship into the AMHR in the future.  She has measured 31.50" inches at Shetland Congress in August as a miniature horse. Rosie has was a 2007 ASPC Shetland National Congress Champion and also a Champion in the Area V Futurity Classic weanling mare class and Area V Champion Classic Weanling Mare and Multi-Colored Classic Mare under 46".  Rosie is also a 2007 ASPC National All-Star Performer Champion in Classic Multi-Colored Mare 46" and Under and 6th place in Mare Foal of Current Year as well.  Rosie's pedigree consists of her sire being "Graham's Chief Lobo" and her dam is a Pinto World Champion in Halter, named "Country Star Rosie Flores" and her remaining pedigree boasts of Red Rock, Kid Lee, and Moose Meadows.

We are looking forward in showing Rosie in 2008 and a very special "Thank You" goes out to Carin and Rusty Ponder of "Pondering Oaks Stables" located in Iola, Texas for letting Rosie become a very important part of our breeding program and show string here at Coventry Lane Farm.     

Fancy Lace Trim EGF, aka...Coco... is a 2006 silver bay ASPC modern pleasure shetland filly with a great length of neck, small head and doe eyes, four white socks and a small star.  Coco is currently measuring at 37 inches and if she would happen to stay 38 inches or under, she would be hardshipped into the AMHR. She will be attending the ASPC shows and also is ASPC Futurity sustained.   

We are very excited about this sweet filly that she will become a important asset to our shetland show string and breeding program here at Coventry Lane Farm.  Her bloodlines consist of B & L's Rock "E" Paper Lace, B & L's Golden Linda Lou, B & L's Golden Moonlight, Bar G's Rock "E" that is in the Hall of Fame, J.B.'s Oscar Meyer, Bar G's Rockey and B's Show Man that are both in the Hall of Fame as well.

Whisper is a 2006 non-fading ASPC and AMHR registered black filly with TWO ice blue eyes.  Whisper's sire is Michigan's Election Day Replay that has been a World Show  Grand Champion Foundation Stallion and a Shetland National Congress and AMHR Nationals top ten finisher.  Her dam is Michigan's Romantic Sonnet also.  Whisper's pedigree boasts of the various "Michigan" names consisting of Michigan's Instant Replay, Michigan's Midget Mike, Michigan's Silver Momma, Michigan's Miss Liberty, Michigans's Liberated Lady, along with H.P. Jericho's New Image, Winks New Dawn,  Red Rock Kid's Sonnet, Kid Lee, Red Rock Oracle-Masterpiece Sonnet.  Whisper is ASPC and AMHR Futurity sustained and has done very well in 2007.  She is very easy to deal with and a great asset to our show string and later on in our breeding program here at Coventry Lane Farm.  Later on in the future, Whisper will be bred to our buttermilk buckskin pinto stallion named Gold that has the Michigan's background as well for a 2009 ASPC and AMHR Futurity nominated foal.
