2007 ASPC National Shetland Congress ~ Classical Story and Scott Queer from Coventry Lane Farm was presented the "Inaugral Vetrolin Grooming Award"  for the pony "that outshined all the others" that was selected from a dozen runners-up during the Platform Shetland Pony Congress.  The award was presented by Farnam's Territory Manager "John Sheary" and Farnam's Regional Field  Representative "Renee Mariniello".   (See Above Photo)

 

 

Buckeye WCF Classical Story is a 2006 Classic Shetland bred by Les and Getitia Matheny from Buckeye Walnut Creek Farm located in Circlevlle, Ohio.  Story's sire is "Graham's Little King Lee" and his dam is " M.A.M. Music's Miss Melody" that was awarded "Double Superior Dam".  Both Story's Sire and Dam are in the Hall of Fame as well as others in his pedigree consisting of Spring Fancy (HOF), Ramble Ridge's Cocky Corky (HOF), Cedergrove's Fascination Rde (HOF), along with Red Rock Kid Lee, Kid Lee, M.A.M. Say it with Music, Red Rock Sweet Thing,  and Bullseye.  Story is in the ASPC Futurity Program as has done very well in his show career.

Michigan's Sox Appeal is a 2008 ASPC Modern Shetland colt that his sire is Michigan's Wild Horse (Hall of  Fame) and his dam is Willowlawn's Bobbiesoxs.  Sox has very many famous Michigan's in his pedigree that are in the Hall of Fame as well consisting of Michigan's Hart Breaker, Michigan's King Pin, Michigan's Heart Throb and Michigan's Half Breed, along with Michigan's Aquanaut, Michigan's Rose Marie, Michigan's Cherokee Queen, Michigan's Galloping Gourmet, plus also having Bar-G's Doubletake that is in the Hall of Fame and Bar G-Rock "O" plus       Bar G-s Rosa "D".  Sox Appeal is also sustained in the ASPC Futurity.

 

In 2009 Sox Appeal was a Congress National Champion & and a Congress Reserve National Champion, plus a TWO Time World Show Champion and placed in his Futurity classes at both Congress and the World Show.

Coventry Lane's Gold Standard is a palomino pinto filly with Two Ice Blue Eyes with being dual registered ASPC and AMHR and in both the AMHR Futurity and the ASPC Futurity Program.  She is very elegant and refined with a very pretty head, tiny ears, teacup muzzle, straight legs, perfect bite, nice length of neck, level topline and already has the showy trot plus look at me atitude. 

 

Her dam is Michigan's Bonnie McBride and her sire is Coventry Lane's Gold Edition. Snowberry Farm's Jet Set...aka "Jet" is a 2007 dual registered ASPC and AMHR Michigan bred gelding.  Jet has many famous Michigan horses in his background consisting of his sire being "Michigan's Sharp as a Tack" that is owned by Jim and Becky McKeith from Snowberry Farms located in Coleman Michigan, and Jet's dam is Michigan's Mother Hanna, and others being Michigan's Instant Replay, Michigan's Pocket Change, Michigan's Midget Mike, Michigan's Silver Penny, Michigan's Mike's Second Edition, and Michigan's Silver Momma.  Jet was a 2007 AMHR National Top Ten finisher in halter.  Jet Set has awarded Champion of Champions plus Grand Champion and Reserve Grand Champion Gelding along with placing first in his Model class with exception of one show being placed second.

Gold is a 2004 ASPC and AMHR registered buttermilk buckskin pinto stallion that measures only 37 inches.  His pedigree consists of Michigan's Midget Mike, Michigan's Repeat Edition, and Michigan's Mike's Second Edition that was a Congress Grand Champion. There are very many Congress Champions in Golds pedigree dating clear back in 1963 and 1964.  Gold is very friendly, easy to deal with and loves attention.   

 

Gold's first foal was born on April 25, 2009 and was a very elegant and refined palomino pinto filly with Two Ice Blue Eyes named "Coventry Lane's Gold Standard"  and is AMHR and ASPC registered.  She is also in both AMHR & ASPC Futurity programs and was awarded Tenth Place in her Futurity class at the 2009 AMHR Nationals .  

    

 

Johhny Girl Emerald Glenn Farm is a ASPC registered modern pleasure filly that was foaled on January 24, 2008 that should remain small enough to hardship in the AMHR at the age of three in 2011.  Currently she is measuring 35 inches as a miniature horse.  Her sire is Michigan's Heart of Gold and her dam is Pan's Little Bit of Florida.   Others in her pedigree consist of Michigan's Maverick, Michigan's Hart Breaker, Michigan's Aquanaut, Michigan's Future Fortune, Michigan's Heart Throb, SG Up and Atom, Bar-G's Rock "O", Bar-G's La-Dawn, M.A.M. Fancy Lace Trim EGF, aka...Coco... is a 2006 silver bay dual registered AMHR & ASPC modern pleasure shetland filly with a great length of neck, small head and doe eyes, four white socks and a small star.      

 

We are very excited about this sweet filly that she will become a important asset to our miniature & shetland breeding program here at Coventry Lane Farm.  Her bloodlines consist of B & L's Rock "E" Paper Lace, B & L's Golden Linda Lou, B & L's Golden Moonlight, Bar G's Rock "E" that is in the Hall of Fame, J.B.'s Oscar Meyer, Bar G's Rockey and B's Show Man that are both in the Hall of Fame as well.

 

  

 

Buckeye WCF Paposo Black Magic ...aka Midnight is a 2007 dual registered ASPC and AMHR solid black filly with a high tail set, great topline, thin upright neck and has such pretty movement.  Her dam is "Michigan's Mother Margaret" that is in the Hall of Fame and with being a Superior Dam as well.  Midnight's sire is "Kewpie's Paposa of Arenosa" that is registered AMHA, AMHR, ASPC and is 100% Arenosa.  

 

Midnight's additional pedigree consists of Kewpie's Topper of Arenosa, Kewpie's Ruby of Arenosa,  Kewpie Doll's Diablo, Kewpie's El Monterry of Arenosa, H.P. Jericho's New Image, Winks Jericho, Winks New Dawn, Michigan's Pocket Change, Michigan's Mike's Second Addition and Michigan's Silver Penny that is also in the Hall of Fame.

Pondering Oaks Apache Rose is a 2007 ASPC and Pinto Association registered tovero filly with a partial bald face and two ice blue eyes and Rosie will remain small enough to hardship into the AMHR in 2010.  Rosie has was a 2007 ASPC Shetland National Congress Champion and also a Champion in the Area V Futurity Classic weanling mare class and Area V Champion Classic Weanling Mare and Multi-Colored Classic Mare under 46".  Rosie is also a 2007 ASPC National All-Star Performer Champion in Classic Multi-Colored Mare 46" and Under and 6th place in Mare Foal of Current Year as well.  Rosie's pedigree consists of her sire being "Graham's Chief Lobo" and her dam is a Pinto World Champion in Halter, named "Country Star Rosie Flores" and her remaining pedigree boasts of Red Rock, Kid Lee, and Moose Meadows.
