Coventry Lane's Rose Edition...aka Lil' Rose  is very colorful black sabino pinto filly that is super friendly and was born on May 25, 2010.  She has one blue eye and one brown eye with black eyeliner around both.  Lil' Rose will be registered with the ASPC and AMHR plus this filly will stay small enough to hardship into the AMHA in 2013 with her mature height being 33 inches.  

 

This is one of our first miniature shetlands that will be this "A" size that is very hard to produce and now is being sought for the show rings in both the AMHA and AMHR registry.    

 

Lil' Rose is very correct having the very refined and delicate look plus having such a beautiful  head with tiny ears.  She has very many famous names in her pedigree which some have been Shetland Congress Champions consisting of the various Michigan's, along with  .... Red Rock, Kid Lee, Moose Meadows, Graham's Chief Lobo being Rose's Grandsire and Country Star Rosie Flores that is Rose's Grandam that was a Pinto World Champion in Halter as well.  

 

Lil' Rose's dam is "Pondering Oaks Apache Rose" that is a loudly marked tovero pinto with being triple registered AMHR, ASPC and Pinto Horse Association.  Apache Rose has been a National Shetland Congress Champion as a weanling and Area V Futurity Champion, Area V Classic Weanling Champion and a ASPC National Champion All Star and Top Ten in Mare Foal of Current Year, Area II Futurity Champion and various top awards in her show career.

 

Her sire is "Coventry Lane's Gold Edition" that is our dual registered AMHR and ASPC buttermilk buckskin pinto that has many famous Michigan horses in his background being Michigan's Midget Mike, Michigan's Repeat Edition, Michigan's Mike's Second Edition that have been Shetland Congress Champions as far back as 1964.  So far Coventy Lane's Gold Edition has produced nothing but pinto's.

 

Many of these famous shetlands in Lil' Rose's pedigree are also listed in Pat Elders recent publication "Outstanding American Shetland Ponies" which Pondering Oaks Apache Rose is also pictured and listed in this publication along with the various "Michigan's" horses.

"Coventry Lane's Golds Trim"  ........was foaled on June 4th and will be dual registered AMHR and ASPC and is the Futurity program as well.  This colt is a very refined with being a loudly marked pinto with a very upright and long neck, nicely dished head, hooky ears with being very correct, plus a trot to die for with breaking level with every stride just like his dam being a Modern Pleasure.  This fellow will mature at 36 inches. 

 

His dam is "Fancy Lace Trim Emerald Glenn Farm", aka.... Co Co.... that is a bay modern pleasure mare that we had purchased from Jackie and Stuff Tyler of Emerald Glenn Farm located in Wisonsin that was small enough to hardship last year into the AMHR.

 

His sire is our buttermilk buckskin pinto named "Coventry Lane's Gold Edition"  aka....Gold, which has produced nothing but pinto foals.   

 

Trimmer ....... has various famous horses in his backround being Bar-G's Rockey (Hall of Fame), Bar-G's Rock "E"  (Hall of Fame), B's Show Man (Hall of Fame) along with various Michigan horses as Michigan's Repeat Edition (Hall of Fame), Michigan's Mike's Second Edition (Hall of Fame), Michigan's Midget Mike (Hall of Fame), Bar G's Glamor Girl, B & L's Golden Moonlight, B & L's Golden Linda Lou,  and B & L's Rock "E" Paper Lace.
